Smaller Than My Sex.

Do not guilt me into suppressing my reality\
for your benefit.

*It will not be pretty.*

My reality is not pretty.

I will not force you to swallow more than you can chew.

But notice:

*I have been forced to swallow things*\
*that didn’t fit down my throat.*

So now the blood gushes out the bones of my teeth.

My expression may not always match your excitement.

I may not always meet your strawberry kisses.

I love you.

But if my past scares you,

or you cannot handle the intensity\
in which my body moves through sex

*I will leave.*

I have made myself smaller than my sex

in order to survive.

And now that I know better…

don’t turn me into a witch

for walking away

from something that is too small

for **me.**
